My favorite beach. Combination of sea, cliffs, and beach. Not usually too crowded or too difficult to find parking. Beautiful views, decent waves. Outdoor showers, bathrooms, playground for the kids, and walking distance to local food, shops, and beer.
This is a very popular park virtually right on the beach.Lots of families come here with their children to enjoy the amenities and the beautiful view of the ocean.There are also lots of cafes and restaurants very handy such as the Naked Cafe and Lofty Coffee which we both think are great.Pizza Port on the 101 is a top spot for a good pizza and a craft beer.We love the park!
Thanks to the Lifeguards- you rock! We had a little run in with a stin ray and the lifeguards were there to help in just minutes. They took super care of my daughter and made her comfortable while we soaked her foot in hot water. They are super professional and even checked up on us when we wandered by the parking lot the next day. Thanks to you all.
we love this beach! we have come here on our past few trips to San Diego and have really liked how clean and fun this beach is. the cliffs are beautiful, and it's a close walk to some fun tide pools to the north. sunsets are incredible here!
This beach and neighboring community is great for a beach comber seeking a more serene environment for relaxing while catching some rays. Situated on a hill the neighboring community is great for those in search of some cardio either pre or post beach time. Parking is free on the side streets provided you are respectful to not block in any of the residents. The park benches facing the ocean are my favorite part as they are inviting after a challenging hill walk and allow for some great reflecting time.
